Our National Parks by Art Lee

My school assembly is "Our National Parks" -- sample video, awards, program, flier/poster, press release, newspaper article, comments and bookings.

The show is appropriate for Junior High Schools, High Schools and Colleges.

I perform 12 of my original songs synchronized to 500 of my photos covering 34 National Parks in 40 minutes, not including an optional encore and Q&A.

Students learn about geography, geology, flora and fauna and gain an appreciation for their natural heritage and the wonders of nature.

I'm booking performances in and around Salt Lake City, Utah. I'll consider other locations upon request.

Other Considerations

The stage area should be dark for projecting photos. Light from windows or sky lights can be a problem.

It takes about two hours to setup. After setup, any number of assemblies can be performed in succession. After the audience leaves, it takes about an hour to tear down.

It helps if a few careful and responsible individuals help with setup and tear down. The equipment used in the show costs about $10,000 and needs to be safe and secure.

Donations to Arts and Nature are essential to defray expenses, including transportation (~$0.50/mile) and equipment rental (~$100/day).
